But I'm glad I conquered the fear because it was a very easy ride and the food was so so worth it! A very friendly bunch of people too :) Are you planning on visiting Japan again soon?

You went on a cycling and food tour?! Wow! That must be a little scary. Cycling in a strange city after for so many years. Thank you for this post! We will definitely try the cycle and food tour when we visit Japan again!

This sounds absolutely brilliant, and Ben sounds like a star! Normally I’m one to avoid tours as I just want to explore things on my own and at my own pace. But the more I’m traveling the more I realise that sometimes you can learn so much more by having a guide, and there’s no reason why you can’t have your own time to explore too!

Yes! That’s the only kind of tour I don’t mind taking. Where the guide comes across as winging it, rather than rehearsed (or worse, quizzing you for some inexplicable reason…). 😀
